Same Great Group, New Name!

​The group formerly known as "Walking Together" has decided to rename itself. The group's new name is "Survive2Thrive" and we're really excited about this evolution! When the group began, the idea was to provide people living with cancer and people caring for people with cancer a safe space to express themselves no matter where they were on their journey. The name suggested forward motion and that felt good to the group members! From the outside, though, it sounded like a walking club - mall walking? Speed walking? Power-walking? You get the idea. By refreshing the group's name, we hope that people who need what this dynamic group has to offer will find us. We meet the first Monday of the month (except for January 2016) at the church office.  For January 2016, we will meet for dinner (at a restaurant to be named soon) on January 18.
