Things your GPS can't tell you

MCC Detroit worships in the chapel (not the main sanctuary) of Drayton Avenue Presbyterian Church. The chapel is located at the north end of the building. The door that you should use is the one closest to the corner of Pinecrest and Drayton, and is sheltered by trees. There is a small sign standing near the walkway leading to the door.

We're looking forward to worshipping with you and getting to know you!

About Metropolitan Community Church of Detroit

Metropolitan Community Church of Detroit is made up of people from all walks of life. Our members and friends are people who believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was, and is, meant for everyone.

Our Church is part of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches (UFMCC), a Christian church with a special outreach to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities. We believe that God has created all people, and that God has given each one of us a special place in the realm of creation. We believe that the universal message of the Gospel is one of love and compassion to all people, and it is to that end that we seek to serve our community.

Our denomination has sought to include everyone in its worship services, and in so doing has pioneered the use of inclusive language and theology. We seek to include everyone, not just in worship, but also through opportunities to serve the community in God's love through the church.

Metropolitan Community Church of Detroit, founded in 1972, seeks to bring people into the family of God in an atmosphere of love for all. You can also visit us on MySpace and Facebook.
