An Inreach event is being planned to go and see the Detroit Tigers on August 13. Tickets are $13. Sign up in the vestibule at church if you would like to attend, so that they can pre-order the tickets.

Want to get to know a bit more about the people who are on staff at MCC Detroit? On the second Sunday of every month, the MCCD clergy will meet with new (and old!) people at lunch at Jimi's Restaurant in downtown Royal Oak.

Individual bills are given and prices are from $5 on up for breakfast and lunch. You are invited if you have just begun to attend MCC Detroit and would like to meet and chat with the pastors after worship. Even if this is your first Sunday, you are invited to come and join us for lunch.

Walking Together, the MCC Detroit cancer ministry meets regularly on the first Monday of each month. This group is for all those facing cancer or other life-threatening illnesses, and their partners, caregivers, or others whose lives have been affected. Nick Hill, RN, will be starting an MCC Detroit Health Ministry. Nick will be available one Sunday each month after the 11am service to take your blood pressure, if you are interested in having it checked. Next date to be announced.
